Clean and natural insect repellent. Lemon eucalyptus and cedarwood essential oils show very promising results in test studies. 
We start with whole Mexican vanilla beans, infusing them in locally sourced and house rendered tallow. After straining, we add beeswax and a generous amount essential oils:  lemon eucalyptus and cedarwood. We have found this to be very effective in keeping the bugs away.  Push up lotion stick and rub directly onto exposed skin.  Re-apply as necessary.
